Google Street View Car at rest

On my way back from the pub the other night, I noticed a Google Street View Opel Astra with French registration plates parked outside a house.

The next morning I went back to take some pictures, which you see below.

These photos were taken in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England from a public highway on 5th/6th July 2009 and have been scaled to 25%, to see full-size images, click on the photos.

These next two photos were taken in the same place on 18th July 2009, and show a Spanish-registered car.

These next two photos were taken in the same place on 22nd July 2009, and show a British-registered car. At this rate, I'll soon collect a whole set.

The next photo was taken in the same place on 28th July 2009, and shows another British-registered car.

Today, 10th October 2009 I spoke with the Guitar-Hero driver of the Google Car, and snapped this picture of his latest ride, another British-registered Opel Astra. I think that I also spotted another car a few days earlier with the reg LJ08VCN, but failed to get a photo.

UPDATE: I've just seen today (11/3/2010) on The Register a photo of a Google StreetView car with the reg LJ08VCM, so it's highly likely my memory is correct, and I saw a sister car to the one in The Reg

11th March 2010, and the images have gone live. Note that the number plate blurring hasn't worked on Bethany's car, presumably due to it being a silver-on-black classic plate.
